This document determines and explains how Operations Optimization Corp. (“CITABOT”, “We” or “Our Company”) collects, processes, stores, shares, and/or protects any Personal Information (as defined below) and/or any other information regarding when you use CITABOT or the Services (as defined below) (collectively referred to as the “Information”), in accordance with the provisions of Law 25.326 on the protection of personal data, its regulatory decree, complementary rules, and provisions issued by the National Directorate of Personal Data Protection. We will not use Confidential Information with third parties except as provided in this Privacy Policy. By accessing our Platform or using the services, you accept this Privacy Policy.
By accessing and/or using the online platform of CITABOT, its applications, or the website citabot.com and/or hiring our services (the “Services”), You consent to the collection, storage, disclosure, and other uses of your Information, in accordance with this Privacy Policy. As established in the terms and conditions related to the Services (the “TyC”), you must have reached the legal age to access and/or use the Services.

INFORMATION WE COLLECT.
1.1 Personal Information. The Services use the information collected to operate, maintain, and provide the functionality of the Services themselves, analyzing how such services are used, conducting diagnostic services or technical problem checks, maintaining security, personal content, personal information reminder for account access, monitoring metrics such as total visitors, traffic, demographic patterns, and tracking content and users according to applicable law. In this regard, We collect information in order to identify users (“Personal Information”). Such Personal Information may include email address, name, surname, address, and telephone number, and any other personal information that the user has provided to Our Company by using Operations Optimization Corp. Services.
We collect Personal Information online when, among other cases:
You register to use any of the available services on the Website. You use the Website. You send us questions, inquiries, or comments, or contact the Website. You request information or materials. You provide information to the Website in any way (chats, forums, uploads, etc.). Your name, email, and any other information you choose to provide may be viewed by other users, all according to your settings in the Services.
As mentioned below, We may use your Personal Information to send you marketing messages. If you do not wish to receive such messages, you can choose not to receive them by following the instructions provided in said message. If you contact us via email, we may save the content of your email, your email address, and your responses.
1.2 Your Content and Communication. Our Company collects and stores all comments, communications, and conversations that the User conducts through the Services.
1.3 Cookies. Operations Optimization Corp. may use cookies to track your access to the Services. This technology operates either by placing a small file that stores certain information on your computer or mobile phone, and/or accessing certain information from your device. Operations Optimization Corp. uses cookies and similar technology to recognize your device and to collect and store access data so that you do not have to log in every time you access the Services, to allow Operations Optimization Corp. to provide the user with greater personalized services, and to collect any other information related to the use of the Services. If you do not want a cookie to be installed on your hard drive, you can configure your computer’s browser not to receive them. “Cookies” are associated only with an anonymous user and their computer and do not themselves provide the user’s personal data, nor can they read data from their hard drive, or read cookies created by other providers.
1.4 Knowledge. Through the knowledge you post by using the Services, you also provide us with your information. Your knowledge and data about your knowledge may be viewed by other users according to your Service settings. Operations Optimization Corp. may, but is not obligated to, monitor the knowledge you post in the Services. We may delete any information you post for any reason or without reason. Unless knowledge can be viewed according to your settings in the Services, Operations Optimization Corp. employees and Operations Optimization Corp. will not see your knowledge, except: (i) to maintain, provide, or improve the Services; (ii) to help you resolve your support requests; or (iii) as Operations Optimization Corp. deems appropriate, in its sole discretion, that it is necessary to comply with or prevent the violation of applicable law or regulation or to cooperate with law enforcement.
1.5 Geographical Location Information. When you use the Services by or through a mobile device, we may remotely access, collect, monitor, and/or store “location data”, which may include GPS coordinates (e.g., latitude and/or longitude) or similar information about the location of your mobile device. Location data may transmit information about how you use the Services. Location data does not collect or share any personally identifiable information about you. Location data may be used in conjunction with personally identifiable information. Some features of the Services, especially location-based services, may not function properly if the use or availability of location data is affected or disabled.
1.6 Device Identifiers. When you access the Services by or through a mobile device, we may remotely access, collect, monitor, and/or store one or more “device identifiers.” Device identifiers are small data files or similar data structures stored or associated with your mobile device, which uniquely identify your mobile device and are used to improve the Services. A device identifier may be information stored in connection with the hardware of the device, data stored in connection with the device’s operating system or other software, or data sent to the device by Us. A device identifier may transmit information about how you use the Services. A device identifier does not collect or share any personally identifiable information about you. A device identifier may be used in conjunction with personally identifiable information. A device identifier may persistently remain on your device, to help you log in faster and improve your navigation through the Services. Some features of the Services may not function properly if the use or availability of device identifiers is affected or disabled. Operations Optimization Corp. may access, collect, and/or store device identifiers by enabling Operations Optimization Corp. Services.
USE AND DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION BY Operations Optimization Corp..
2.1 Data Storage. In accordance with the provisions of articles 3 and 6 of Law 25.326, Our Company properly complies with the registration of the database of its users with the National Directorate of Personal Data Protection and carries out the corresponding annual renewals, in accordance with current regulations. Our Company does not collect Information for any purpose other than or incompatible with the purpose set forth in this Privacy Policy, nor does it directly or indirectly disclose sensitive data. Such Information will be stored, facilitating, at all times, the exercise of the rights of its owners and updated if necessary.
2.2 Use of Information. The user acknowledges and accepts that Operations Optimization Corp. and/or service providers on its behalf may use the information they collect, including Personal Information, for the purpose of performing data processing or operations, assisting or improving the user experience, and/or providing contact information to customers who hire our Services. All information obtained in this way will be treated as confidential. Our Company does not process personal data of its users to carry out third-party advertising (individuals or legal entities).
2.3 Other Transfers. Operations Optimization Corp. does not share or commercialize its users’ information in any form, except with the express and written consent of the user to do so, or as indicated in the following paragraphs. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the user expressly consents that Operations Optimization Corp. may transfer the Information in whole or in part to any controlled, controlling, and/or affiliated companies, guaranteeing adequate confidentiality of the transferred Information in all cases.
In order to provide its services, Operations Optimization Corp. may disclose Information to third parties with whom it maintains a labor or service relationship, for the purpose of carrying out administrative services or other business services, such as hosting. These third parties will have access to the users’ Information necessary to perform their functions but may not use it for other purposes. Additionally, they must treat the Information in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable data protection legislation, respecting the confidentiality thereof at all times.
In the event that Our Company or the majority of its assets are acquired in the future by a third party, users’ Personal Information will be one of the transferred assets, subject to the commitments made in this Privacy Policy, unless expressly authorized otherwise by the user. The same criteria will apply in cases of merger, transformation, or corporate spin-off in which Our Company is involved.
Likewise, Our Company may disclose Personal Information for other reasons to the extent permitted and/or required by any law and/or judicial resolution.
2.4. Email.
2.4.1. Operations Optimization Corp. may send you emails regarding the content of the Website, the services provided by Operations Optimization Corp., or about your account and in response to your questions, requests, inquiries, or comments. Operations Optimization Corp. may also send you emails with information about products and services offered by Operations Optimization Corp. and/or third parties commercially associated that may be of interest to you, unless you expressly indicate that you do not wish to receive such emails through the processes implemented by Operations Optimization Corp. for this purpose.
2.4.2. You may request at any time the removal or blocking of your name from the database referred to in this Privacy Policy by following the procedure outlined in this policy.
2.4.3. Any email you receive from Operations Optimization Corp. will inform you how to reject the sending of future promotional emails. Likewise, you may change your preferences for receiving advertising emails through the settings of your account on the Website at any time.
- SECURITY OF PERSONAL INFORMATION. Operations Optimization Corp. takes all reasonable and positive measures to ensure that Personal Information is protected against any inappropriate use, loss, unauthorized access, modification, and/or disclosure in accordance with Law 25.326, and complementary rules. Operations Optimization Corp. adopts and applies appropriate practices for the collection, storage, and management of data, and security procedures against unauthorized access, alteration, addition, deletion, disclosure, and/or destruction of User Information, username, email address, password, transaction information, and any other information stored on the Website. However, no information stored or transmitted via the Internet or another network can be guaranteed as one hundred percent secure. Therefore, Operations Optimization Corp. does not guarantee that the Information cannot be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed in the event of a violation of any of the aforementioned security measures.
- ACCESS TO PERSONAL INFORMATION. The user may consult the Personal Data Protection Directorate (or the supervisory authority that replaces it in the future), free of charge, about the existence of files, records, or databases, their purposes, and the identity of their controllers. This body is responsible for the National Registry of Databases, which is public and free access.
Likewise, the user has the right to access the Personal Information collected by Our Company regarding themselves and to request the rectification, updating, deletion, and confidentiality of the Information contained in the Company’s databases, all in accordance with and under the terms of articles 14 and 16 of Personal Data Protection Law No. 25.326.
Finally, the user may request free withdrawal or blocking of their name and email from advertising files or databases (art. 27 paragraph 3 of Law No. 25.326).

- PRIVACY FOR MINORS. Protecting the privacy of minors is especially important to Us. Our Services are not directed at minors, therefore, Operations Optimization Corp. does not intend to collect or solicit personal information from anyone under the age of legal consent, nor does it deliberately allow such persons to register for the Services. If we become aware that we have mistakenly collected personal information from a minor without verifying parental consent, we will take necessary steps to delete that information. If you believe we may have information about or related to a minor, please contact us.
- INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFER. Our Company’s users’ information is stored on servers of a third party contracted by Our Company that provides Cloud Computing services, which for Ecuadorian legislation, constitutes a provision of computerized services or information processing services.
Therefore, in accordance with current regulations, Our Company: (a) carries out international transfer of personal data and (b) states that the data transfer is made to a country that meets the adequate protection levels established by article 12 of Law 25,326 and complementary rules and that the Cloud Computing service provider properly complies with the relevant protection and security levels regarding personal data under current legislation.
